Sara and Dean woke early on Saturday morning. The cloudless sky was just getting light. It was going to be a perfect day for the family picnic! They dressed as fast as they could so they would be ready to help.
When the family arrived at the park, they began unloading things right away. Dad chose one of the outdoor grills near the picnic tables. He filled it with charcoal and lit it. Sara and Dean helped Mom by lugging coolers and bags to the tables. When the two kids saw their favorite cousins arrive, they were ready to play. They knew it would be one of the best picnics ever!
